Worlds Apart

This comic was completed in my university days at Concordia to be part of a comic collaboration called EXPLICIT. When I went to Montreal for university I was hoping there would be a lot of like-minded artists. I found a few, but I also found the profs were ignorant about comics and graphic novels. "Comics?" they said. Unfortunately they were too old fashioned and saw graphic storytelling as a low grade form of art. I however disagree! I am striving to work towards my own full fledged graphic novel.
